Job Description:
HR SYSTEMS & PROCESSES

• Contributes to the development of HR policies and processes; directs the interpretation and application of established HR policies, systems and processes at the location to ensure uniform application
• Actively participates in the initiation and finalisation of the manpower plans for the location; undertakes recruitment up to a specified management level for the location
• Participates as the location’s senior management team member in productivity improvement initiatives at the location.
• Responsible for talent Acquisition, Management and development
• Controls attrition
• Drives performance and consequence management, and compensation and benefits programmes at the location in consultation with the Location Head and Corporate HR
• Identifies training needs, contributes in development of training modules, ensures timely implementation of the training calendar and monitors the effectiveness of training
• Develop measures to control the operating expenses of the department including the staff cost through various measures as Talent retention, Referral scheme, Recruitment benchmarking, redeployment, outsourcing and Multiskilling
• Responsible for compensation and performance management
• Responsible for promoting synergy between and amongst all functions towards business delivery/QUOTIF
ADMINISTRATION

• Manages the manpower budget for the location
• Establishes and maintains effective administration systems for housekeeping, guest house maintenance, horticulture, security, canteen, etc. at the location
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

• Directs the development and administration of programmes for employee communications and for promotion of community relations and addresses environmental concerns

• Drives Employee Engagement activities within the teams of the site.

• Develops and maintains a positive work culture and a healthy working environment at the location

• Responsible for employee discipline

• Administers welfare/benefit schemes for employees
STATUTORY COMPLIANCE

• Liaises with the government bodies on labour and administration and ensures compliance to all labour-related requirements for company and contract employees
People Management (Responsibility for leading, motivating and developing staff)
• Manages the performance of the team – sets annual performance goals, monitors performance and provides constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Identifies their training and development needs and ensures their fulfilment
• Encourages team cohesiveness.
• Develops and mentors subordinates to move to the next higher level of job. Develops career plans in consultation with Corporate HR
• Ensures compliance to Company policies and values
